THE ROLE

PerceptView is seeking an Office Operations Assistant to support daily office and operational activities, with a strong focus on inventory tracking, receiving, shipping, procurement, logistics and product kitting. This position would be reporting to the Operations & Administrative Coordinator, this role is responsible for executing established processes, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure smooth, reliable operations across the organization.

This is a hands-on role that supports both office operations and light logistics in a technical environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with physical inventory as well as administrative systems.

  • Location: Garden City, Idaho

  • Type: Part-Time with potential for Full-Time Onsite

  • Work Week: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm (subject to change depending on need)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Office & Operations Support

    • Assist with daily office operations to ensure a well-organized and efficient workplace

    • Follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of operational workflows

    • Support cross-functional teams with operational and administrative needs as assigned

      Inventory & Logistics

    • Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments accurately

    • Track Inventory levels and maintain accurate records in inventory documentation

    • Pick, kit, package and ship products and equipment according to documented processes

    • Label, store and organize inventory and operational supplies to ensure accessibility and accuracy

    • Assist with cycle counts and investigate discrepancies

    • Coordinate with Operations team regarding deliveries, shipments and logistics issues

      Administrative & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory and operational activities

    • Ensure records are complete, organized and compliant with internal procedures

    • Identify and escalate discrepancies, delays, or issues in a timely manner

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team while consistently following established processes and procedures

  • Comfortable performing hands-on tasks, including lifting and moving materials

  • Computer Proficiency (google sheets/docs, spreadsheets, inventory or tracking systems)

  • Candidates must possess a valid, state-issued form of identification and be able to verify employment eligibility in the United States

  • Must possess valid state issued drivers license

Preferred:

  • 1 - 3 years experience in office operations or administrative support

  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving, basic warehouse operations/practices

  • Experience working with technical, manufacturing, or hardware-focused environment

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Must possess the physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, as lifting and moving of equipment may be required in certain work environments.
